What kind of design does the area that needs to be bent and flexed when the product is designed in the early stage? 1. When designing the product structure, we need to know which area of the FPC flexible circuit board needs to be bent, how big the bending angle is, and how much the frequency and bending times are.
2. In the bending and dismantling area, we should avoid designing the via hole, which is the FPC flexible circuit board with relatively high bending frequency and frequency. Do not design the through hole in this area. When wiring in the bending and dismantling area, we try to design it to be equal width, equidistant, close to the geometric center, try to avoid large copper skin, and the copper that needs the auxiliary copper should be changed to the grid state.
3. It is best to design a single-layer line in this area, and at the same time, the manufacturer and the insulation layer should be as thin as possible. For the FPC cable with large bending frequency and frequency, use the non-adhesive type of rolled copper, the copper thickness should not exceed 18um.
4. Although the soft FPC board can be bent, we can’t make a dead fold for it. The maximum possible bending radius and angle should be designed in the curved place.
